10 am: Genetic update on Te Mania Angus seedstock herd with Tom Gubbins.
Genetics, research projects and data collection followed by a farm drive.

10.30am: Multi Species and No-Till Farming for better soils and production with Grant Sims, Down Under Covers.  We will view pastures and discuss the nuts and bolts of soil nutrition, the science of ideal growing conditions and multi species cover crops for maximum benefit.
