Well done to Chris Clemson and the team at Clemson Hiscox for selling all 81 pure Te Mania Angus blood heifers through AuctionsPlus last month for double what vendors Garry and Leanne Hall, The Mole Partnership, Warren, NSW, had been hoping.
Thanks to strong demand for Te Mania Angus genetics, along with the selling team highlighting the marbling ability of these young heifers, they had 354 clients check in on the three 27-head lots of 12-month-old heifers, sparking a fierce bidding war which saw Liston Cattle Company pay an average $1114.66 for all three lots.
The Halls had been hoping for $1.90/kg and we realised $3.71
Bought through Ray White at Glen Innes, their client was determined to add the heifers, in joining condition averaging 300.8kg, to their herd after being bull buyers at the Te Mania Angus Walgett bull sale this year.
