The new CEO of Rangers Valley, Keith Howe visited the Western District last week with Rangers Valley livestock manager Richard Eldershaw.
Keith replaces Don Mackay as the new chief after Don’s eight years at the helm.
Keith has a background in the meat industry as executive director of Top Cut Foods, a subsidiary of the Simplot Group. Prior to that Keith had an extensive career with Coles Supermarkets and in his last role headed up the meat division.
Keith spent some time meeting some of Rangers Valley’s key producers from Team Te Mania and hearing about the different management systems and practices used by some of the best commercial producers in the business.
