2014_Lambex_280_x_157Te Mania Angus director Tom Gubbins was a Guest Speaker at the 2014 LambEx conference in Adelaide last week.  With over 900 participants, this is one of the biggest sheep and lamb conferences in Australia, held over two days combining leading national and international industry speakers with a significant trade exhibition.

Designed to unite, excite and inspire the Australian meat sheep industry it is also recognised as one of the industry’s major events in helping boost the integrity and professionalism of the sector and maximise the profitability of a cornerstone of the national grazing industry – as well as lifting its profile as a major employment and business opportunity.

Speaking at the Royal Adelaide Showgrounds Tom told the packed audience the sheep industry should demand more from its seedstock sector when it comes to application of technology.

And, he says this can apply to genetics, farm production systems, and marketing (through processor feedback).
