Congratulations to Te Mania clients, Barfold Beef from Kyneton, Victoria, and Team Te Mania member Duncan Clowes of Vlademar, Millthorpe, NSW, for great results in the Beef Spectacular Feedback Trial.
A pen of five steers, some by Te Mania Garth G67, from Matthew Shea’s Barfold Beef was awarded Reserve Champion Premium Black Angus pen, with that pen coming in 6th overall on 724 points out of a possible 1000, while another Barfold pen came in 9th overall.
Team Te Mania member, Duncan Clowes, also had great results, achieving 12th place overall, on 710 points, for a pen of his Angus steers.
Both are great results in a feedlot trial which had 95 teams entered.
The Beef Spectacular Feedback Trial is coordinated by The Land with cattle on feed for 112 days at Teys Jindalee Feedlot at Stockinbingal, NSW. Teams of five steers are assessed on feedlot entry specifications, feedlot performance and carcase performance.
